Mugyo 무교 - Korean ShamanismCulture 2021. 1. 15. 07:00반응형
There are various religions in Korea.
Christianity, Catholicism, and Buddhism are the most common.
There are also Muslims, Taoists, and so on.
What traditional religions are there in Korea?
There is a religion called 'mugyo' in Korea.
They describe it as so-called shamanism, and expect the future through rituals and divination.
It's one of the religions that many young people don't believe now.
It is also true that it is still popular with older people.
They live in sacrifices to the gods they serve.
The people who ask them to offer sacrifices spend quite a bit of money.
That's why there are many scams in 'Mugyo.'
It's hard to recognize a shaman when you come to Korea.
A shaman is also a person, so if they don't work, they dress like ordinary people.
But people who travel to Korea can be relieved because they are not people who go around to cheat.
A shamanism is different from Christianity, where only one god exists. there are so many god in Mugyo.
In other words, there is a limit to where the scale cannot be as large as Christianity or Buddhism.
Therefore, it is easy to recognize the house where the shaman lives when passing by in Korea.
Because they put down their religious labels.
I think Korean shamanism is ridiculous, but it is also fun to watch during ancestral rites as one of the long-established religions in Korea.
I'm a Christian. Sometimes I watch news that I lose money by believing in an absurd religion such as shamanism.
I don't understand and feel sorry.
Do you have a religion?
